Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office radio network team is capable or adding available WIFI into public safety radios to allow for public safety radio communications in buildings where radio signal is weak. This can be especially beneficial to the public and responders by ensuring that first responders can communicate during the initial response, as well as making sure that once the incident location is reached, that additional resources can be called when needed.
